Sivergues
Village basé au pied du Grand Luberon, et qualifié de "bougrement perché" par le romancier Henri Bosco, Sivergues fut autrefois peuplé par des Vaudois du Luberon (mouvement religieux créé en 1170 par Pierre Vaudès), et qui contribuèrent à son isolement afin d'échapper à toute répression. Et de nos jours, il constitue un des points de départ pour des randonnées pédestres afin, par exemple, d'accéder au sommet du Grand Luberon : le Mourre Nègre.

Village based in the foothills of Grand Luberon, and qualified “hugely perched” by the novelist Henri Bosco, Sivergues had been in the past populated by Vaudois of Luberon (religious movement established in 1170 by Pierre Vaudès), and who contributed to its isolation in order to get out at any suppression. And nowadays, it constitutes one of start points for hikings in order to access, for example, to the submit of Grand Luberon : the Mourre Nègre.
